As not-for-profit healthcare providers, we are constantly seeking new ways to continue to provide a full spectrum of services efficiently and with unwavering quality. We are pleased to inform you that Northern Michigan Regional Health System and Mackinac Straits Hospital have formally approved a new partnership, one that ensures the independence of both, yet enhances the provision of high-quality, coordinated care throughout the northern Michigan and eastern Upper Peninsula region.

Mackinac Straits Hospital is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of those individuals visiting or residing in and around the Mackinac Straits area. Our unique geographic location is an asset to our future growth and that of the communities we serve. With the goal of maintaining and improving the quality of life for patients, Mackinac Straits Hospital provides emergency, general medical, referral, on-site skilled nursing services, and operates a 60-bed long term care facility. Other entities of Mackinac Straits Hospital include the health centers in Naubinway, Mackinac Island, and Bois Blanc Island.
